Race the Waves returns in June 2025, bringing vintage vehicle races and attractions to Bridlington South Beach.
Race the Waves returns in 2025. It happens from June 12th to June 15th, drawing many visitors to Bridlington. It’s now the area’s biggest free event, gaining more fans each year. People come to see a “Wacky Races” show on the beach.
Beach races happen Saturday and Sunday. Hundreds of vintage vehicles will race along Bridlington South Beach.
Paul Garbutt organizes Race the Waves. He said they have many vintage entries and other attractions all weekend.
The Lions have a Classic Car Show. The Old Town registration day is June 13th, and the Burton Fleming meeting is June 12th. Stalls and sideshows are open for two days.
Visitors can see cool vintage vehicles, including American hot-rods and motorcycles racing the waves. They start in pairs with a flag, and races are on Bridlington South Beach.
The Steampunk Festival will occur too, at Bridlington Spa, June 14-15th.
