Join Jesse on a rainbow-saving quest! Interactive show visits Reading libraries in February and March. Free tickets, booking required.

Jesse must save the rainbow’s fading colors. He uses his Rainbow Rescue Handbook, which has seven steps for him to follow. He also needs some help from the audience.
The show “Rainbow Rescue” uses fun things like songs and cool poems. Percussion and BSL are part of it too. Kids get a fun experience this way.
“Rainbow Rescue” plays at Reading Rep Theatre, located on King’s Road in Reading. Showtimes are at 11am and 1:30pm on February 22. Theatre tickets cost £6.
After the theatre, the show goes to local libraries, offering kids a smaller, fun space. Tilehurst Library starts it on February 24; the show runs from 10:30am to 11:30am. Central Library hosts it on February 28, also from 10:30am to 11:30am.
Whitley Library has it on March 1, and Caversham Library presents it on March 4. Palmer Park Library is next on March 5, and Southcote Library hosts on March 6. Battle Library finishes it on March 7. All library shows are 10:30am to 11:30am.
Library tickets are free, but you must book ahead at the libraries. Just do it when the library is open.
The tour helps kids use their libraries and could encourage kids to read more. “Rainbow Rescue” is a vibrant show that will boost kids’ learning and fun.
Kids become part of the story easily; they aren’t just sitting and watching. The show uses music, poems, and the sign language BSL, making it a show to remember.
