Rainbow Scoops in Darlington reopens with Italian gelato, ice cream cakes, waffles, and a sandwich deli bar.
Arran Last owns the shop. He opened it in June 2022 and faced challenges running the business. He hopes the update brings in more people.
The shop reopened on February 19. Pictures show the new look and ice cream flavors. Arran spoke with The Northern Echo, explaining that his shop has Italian gelato and ice cream cakes that are also unique to Darlington.
The shop sells cheesecakes, pies, and apple crumble cakes. Lollipop and bubble waffles are very popular. A new sandwich deli bar is a big change, where people can customize their sandwiches.
Arran hopes people know he is open again. So far, customer feedback is positive. Arran thinks the shop is better now – cleaner, brighter, and feeling cozy.
He says they offer lots of ice cream, it might be the largest selection in Darlington. Their offerings are also unique, and prices are affordable for everyone.
