Hey, listen to this cool story! Eight-year-old Holly Hobson ran for charity. Her nine-year-old brother, Tom, joined in too.

They wanted to help Ramsbottom Pantry. The pantry gives food to local people. Tom ran to raise money last year as well. He helped RNLI, a lifeboat group.

This year, Tom ran fifty miles! He ran before school and between sports. Holly ran a great twenty-five miles. Their dad and dog Denny joined her. Together, they raised eight hundred fifty pounds. Ramsbottom Rotary Club gave extra money. This brought their total to one thousand pounds.

Holly said she felt tired but good. Tom felt nervous but enjoyed the run. Friends cheered them on at the end. They got hot chocolate after their final mile. Tom and Holly gave the money to the Pantry.

Their grandad helped too. He is part of the Rotary Club. Their granny volunteers at the food bank. She feels very proud of them.

They helped support her work. Ramsbottom Pantry is open to everyone who needs it. That’s a great way to give back!
