Lyndhurst manager Gary Rumblow praises local pubs’ support. Changes include new food deals and sports coverage.

Mr. Rumblow appreciates Di from The Retreat’s help, and thanked Zoe and Debbie at Burghfield’s Six Bells. Teresa, at The Pond House, supports them too. Locals give a lot of support to the pub.
The pub changed their burger and drink deal to Mondays, which was previously on Thursdays for £15. They now have a curry night on Wednesdays, costing £15 with a drink included, and Thursdays bring a new tapas night. They started with just a few tapas dishes.
The Lyndhurst gets great feedback on its food and their goal is to serve good quality dishes. Sunday roast dinners attract a steady stream of customers, as these roast dinners are very popular.
They show sports on basic TV channels, making Six Nations and FA Cup games available there. However, they don’t show Sky Sports or other similar matches. The Lyndhurst is not really a sports bar.
Mr. Rumblow is from Leeds, but knows Reading well. He has family living in Burghfield and states that everyone is helpful regarding the pub.
