Momo House in Emmer Green rebounds from a zero-star rating to a perfect 5/5 hygiene score after improvements.

There was no hot water, a big issue. Food hygiene was also a big problem and they got a zero-star rating, super low. That meant there was, like, a health risk, you know?
The owners closed it themselves, but promised to fix everything. This included safe gas canisters and restoring hot water. The council helped them sort things out.
By October, hot water was back. They removed the gas safety risk too. Food hygiene improved enough to reopen, and seemed a lot safer, which is good.
Then, in February, they got inspected again. They kept making improvements, a lot of them and finally, Momo House got a 5/5 rating!
This means their standards are very good now and they meet all the legal requirements, which is great. A councilor said actions like this aren’t easy.
She said Momo House worked to restore standards, and getting a 5/5 rating is a real achievement. Council officers regularly inspect places, you see.
She also mentioned the public can report concerns. If you see something wrong, speak up! It helps keep everyone safe.
