The Royal Berkshire NHS Trust runs several hospitals. They include Townlands in Henley and West Berkshire in Thatcham. Windsor Dialysis Unit is also part of it.

A board manages the trust. Elected governors and trust members help too. Governors represent the public’s voice. They help decide the trust’s priorities and shape the services offered. This information comes from the trust’s website.

An election is happening right now in Reading. People are voting for a trust governor. Voting will end pretty soon, though, and two governors will actually get elected.

Tony Page is a candidate and used to be a Labour councillor. James Mugo is also running, having run as a Conservative council candidate. Joycee Rebelo is a dental professional.

Other candidates include Sam D’Arcy-Darling, who is currently a school governor. Joseph Edwards was a director, whose business focused on anaesthetics. Zunnoon Pasha is also a candidate.

Trust members can vote in this election. You can vote online at www.cesvotes.com/royalberkshire2025, or by mailing in a ballot.

Ballots must be sent to Civica Election Services at 33 Clarendon Road, LONDON N8 0NW. Votes must arrive by 5pm on November 27th, which is a Thursday.
