Redhill Park pool requires a permanent solution to avoid yearly struggles to keep it open for the community.

They matter as much as regular play equipment does. They introduce kids to water play safely. I hope the council can find a solution with partners to save the Redhill Park pool and stop the yearly struggle to keep it open.
Joss started a petition to save the pool which got over 5,000 signatures, showing how much people care. Councillor Bartlett and I made a request for money from the Ward Improvement Fund to improve the pool’s filtration system. We also requested new swings to replace the broken ones.
The cafe will also likely be relieved because the pool helps keep that business going. The pool will be open this summer, and the council should remember people love these paddling pools.
Solutions seem available for the other three pools, so don’t shut ours down please. Redhill Park is a great park, bringing well-being to everyone.
