Last May, they jailed Khan for life. He was linked to PC Sharon Beshenivsky’s murder. The murder happened during a robbery. Khan was on the run for nearly fifteen years.

The robbery occurred back in November 2005. It took place at a travel agent in Bradford. Beshenivsky died on her daughter’s birthday. Khan fled to Pakistan after the crime.

Authorities caught Khan in 2020 and sent him back. In April 2024, they convicted him of murder. He also owned firearms illegally.

Khan knew Universal Express well. He had sent money to Pakistan before. He escaped to Pakistan after Beshenivsky’s death. He stayed there until his arrest.

Mr. Justice Hilliard sentenced him last year. He said Khan would die in prison. Paul Beshenivsky gave a statement, saying Khan caused Sharon’s death and she never came home because of him.
