A new roundabout at Shrewsbury Road junction near Oswestry will cause traffic disruption for nine months.

Designers planned it for traffic. The traffic comes from new houses off Shrewsbury Road. It is a big plan for the town area.
The roundabout work happens at this junction: Shrewsbury Road and Maes-Y-Clawdd. The work should end by November 30. It handles traffic from 600 new houses they plan to build.
The Innovation Park should create around 1,300 jobs. A hotel and business units are also planned, with about 21 business units anticipated.
Shropshire Council is talking with developers Pickstock Group and Cornovii Homes. They’re discussing the upcoming construction work.
A council spokesperson spoke about the project. They work with Pickstock and Cornovii Homes, ensuring they understand all the work needed around Shrewsbury Road. The council also has its own needs relating to the Innovation Park.
They discuss the planned work schedules, including work from each organization and setting up utilities like water. Soon they will make a joint statement from all three groups. They will explain the planned work, what it involves, how long it takes, and discuss traffic management.
