The Rockbourne Fair raised a record £62,081 for the Stars Appeal, exceeding last year’s total and benefiting local wards.

The fair raised £62,081. It was a shopping event which occurred October 16-18, 2024. Salisbury Racecourse hosted the fair. The last six fairs raised over £320,000.
The event took place at Imber Ward. Stars Appeal funded the ward’s equipment with funding totaling £600,000. Committee members toured the new unit. They learned where this year’s funds will go.
The Rockbourne Fair happens yearly. It is a three-day shopping event, and the fair’s 2024 amount exceeded the prior year’s. In the prior year, they raised £51,533.
The committee visited Sarum Children’s Ward. There, they met Lily-Eva Cole, age nine, along with her parents, Shannon and Jordan. Lily gave a thank you letter to Lord Pembroke and the committee.
Lily is undergoing cancer treatment currently. She said Stars Appeal has a special team that helps keep her busy and distracts her from treatment. Because Lily can’t go to school due to cancer, the play team keeps her company.
