Prime Romford land with car park, home to Wet Pets & former Twins Wedding Shop, on sale for £1.25M. Redevelopment potential.

Apparently, Twins Wedding Shop shut down. Wet Pets is still open, though. Someone asked Wet Pets about the sale; they didn’t want to comment.
Harston & Co are handling the sale and want offers over £1.25 million. They think developers might like it; gyms, churches, or nurseries could also work. The property includes a big parking lot in the back.
There’s permission to redevelop the whole site. Havering Council approved building plans last month, allowing six flats and three houses.
In September, they okayed changing the building use from commercial to residential. The listing says you get existing permissions with the sale and vacant possession.
This isn’t the first time people wanted to develop there. Back in 2022, someone wanted to build 15 units. People got upset about that plan, and the council refused it for several reasons: they thought the buildings were too big and the layout was bad.
