Soldiers from Kendrew Barracks will march from Northampton to Cottesmore, raising funds for the Royal Anglian Regiment Charity.

The soldiers are from Kendrew Barracks. They belong to C (Northamptonshire) Company. This is part of the 2nd Royal Anglian regiment. They are walking from Northampton to Cottesmore. The walk will happen over two days next week.
The journey starts at 10 AM on Tuesday. This is February 25th. They expect to finish by 4 PM the next day. They will then relax back in Rutland, their base.
Max Delmonte, age 26, will join the charity walk. Max feels fairly confident about finishing. He looks forward to the challenge. Everyone is excited to start.
The regiment was once the 48th of Foot. They chose 48 to honor their history. The soldiers are raising money for charity. The Royal Anglian Regiment Charity will get the funds.
The charity helps veterans and their families. It aids those facing hardship or distress. Max wants to give back to the charity. It supports serving members and veterans.
The charity helped Corporal Roberts’ family. He served with the 1st battalion. He later moved to D company. Sadly, he died last year. Max called him a true friend.
