F.B & Sons will present St Godwald’s Retreat, a garden with special features meant for Primrose Hospice in Bromsgrove.

Marc Harbourne-Bessant spoke about the garden design. His company is F.B & Sons Lawns & Landscapes. They wanted to design a hospice garden, as hospices do important work across the country. Primrose’s work supports many patients and families.
They hope to get a Gold Medal at the RHS Malvern show. Being in the show helps Primrose and raises awareness of their services. That is rewarding enough.
The garden, named ‘St Godwald’s Retreat,’ has special things. They will temporarily move the hospice memory tree. It also includes a special wind telephone that people use to share with lost loved ones. The telephone sits inside a hand-built gazebo, offering shelter to anyone who needs it.
Angelique Dalton is Primrose Hospice’s chief operating officer. She said they are happy F.B & Sons contacted them and that being part of the RHS Malvern Show is amazing. It would not have happened without F.B & Sons’ support.
The garden will be moved to the hospice. Then staff, volunteers, and patients can appreciate it. Dalton added they all cannot wait for it to be there.
