Michael Jones, 31, from Ruthin, received a driving ban after admitting to drug-driving offenses in Wrexham last November.

He admitted to drug-driving, both times in Wrexham, on the first of last November. Seems like a cop noticed him while watching traffic on Coedpoeth High Street.
The cop thought his van was speeding. They ran checks and found the MOT expired last July! He failed a roadside drug test, so they arrested him.
Later, the tests showed too much cocaine and a cocaine breakdown product called benzoylecgonine, or BZE. His lawyer said he had no prior record.
She also said he’s a personal trainer, and the van wasn’t for his job. He was having mental health issues then but now gets help from a team and is going to counselling.
He used the drugs a few days before. The court knew he’s improved and noted his driving ban. He must pay a £461 fine, costs of £85, plus £184 more, and can’t drive for 16 months.
