The Peony pop up shop in Salisbury is closing. Its last day will be this weekend, moving items to other Sussex stores.

Peony has shops in different Sussex towns: Hove, Eastbourne, and Hastings. A sign is up in the window about closing. It says thanks for the friendliness, and that the staff enjoyed working there. Another sign mentions their online store.
Their pop-up shop is closing down soon, but you can shop online at their website. Sally Hudson works at Peony and talked about it, mentioning that rent is very expensive. They have many shops way over east.
People are upset about the store closing because they liked to try clothes on in person. It might be that they find a new spot later on, as the shop has been there five years. House of Tweed changed its name to Peony last year, back in August of 2024. Nothing else changed except the name.
Oliver Bonas had plans for the building, wanting to change the shopfront’s color and add new signs with lights. House of Tweed did not even know about these plans. The plans got withdrawn later.
