The Old Mill in Harnham closed in January. The previous owners sold it after two and a half years. A new owner is reopening it February 22. Guinness will flow for the Six Nations rugby match. England plays Scotland at 4:45 pm that day.

Jonny Spencer bought The Old Mill. He runs Taste the World hospitality company. Jonny also owns several other places, including The Rising Sun, The Old George and The Hunters. He owns Orbis restaurant too and he’ll bring Orbis to The Old Mill.

The Old Mill has a restaurant area. Jonny plans to serve Orbis food there and the menu will be fully gluten-free. The hotel has eleven rooms. There is also a large garden, and Jonny has big plans for it.

Hollie Pack is the manager. Jonny was impressed by the garden, as it was bigger than he thought. He wants to see it busy this summer. They will use the outside space and will serve fresh pizza from a pizza oven.

Jonny has a strong team for this project. Andre Rafael will be the head chef, having moved from another venue. Andre loves the amazing views and looks forward to happy customers.

Jonny plans live music and events. The Old Mill will be available for weddings. Jonny wants people to know it is a normal pub. Everyone is welcome for a pint, even with muddy boots.

People can enjoy pints, sports, and pub food. The restaurant is separate and serves gluten-free food from Orbis. Jonny got a call about The Old Mill. Someone said he would be stupid not to buy it, and he is very happy he did.
