Rosie Fielder directs ‘A Sea of Stars’ with Salisbury performers to raise money for the Stars Appeal charity.

Young performers star in the showcase, all hailing from Salisbury. Many of these performers have benefited from the Stars Appeal. The showcase will feature musical theatre hits, including songs from Wicked and Billy Elliot.
Rosie has attended Starcast since the age of eleven. She created this idea after her grandmother passed, as the hospital had cared for her and supported Rosie and her family during that time.
The show begins with a large group number featuring over twenty young people singing together. Rosie also hopes to include younger kids, some potentially as young as seven.
The students contribute to the creative process of the show, and Rosie is eager to see their ideas come to life. The performance is scheduled for May 3 at Godolphin School.
Finding a venue was initially difficult for Rosie, leading to frustration. However, Anna, a teacher, helped her secure the school space, which was provided for free.
Rosie now asks for help when she needs it. She aims to raise over £3,000 through tickets, drinks, and a raffle. Ultimately, Rosie believes any amount raised for the Stars Appeal will be a success.
