A year after Sarah Jackson’s passing, her community group, Sarah Jackson Community Wish, marks its first anniversary.

The group wants to thank all its supporters, saying none of this would be possible without them. They decorated a phone box in Market Square to celebrate the charity’s first year, and also funded defibrillator pad replacements.
The community can celebrate at the phone box. They left flowers around Otley for people to find, a small way to brighten someone’s day. They are planning a summer party too and will announce the date soon.
The Sarah Jackson Community Wish helps the Otley area, having given over £15,000 in the last year. They focus on schools and different groups, making a big difference in so many ways.
They provided first aid training for kids. Local groups got financial support, including bereavement support and help for older people. They helped the food bank and local schools, while people also got support with heating and Christmas.
The committee members appreciate the generosity. They thank everyone who helped them, bringing hope and love to the community. The group is endlessly grateful for the help.
You can nominate someone in need using the form on their website. Local groups in need may also apply. The committee meets monthly to review requests.
The committee remembers why they do this work, recognizing that giving back is important to them. They want to spread love and support the community, hoping to keep helping as long as they can. Together, they will keep giving a little love.
