Amanda attended a St. David’s Day reception with Ruth Jones, the MP. The event gathered inspiring Welsh people helping their communities. Amanda talked about the Six Bells project to Welsh icons Alun Wyn Jones, Ken Owens, and Michael Sheen, who supported the campaign.
This event marked a campaign milestone, showing the project’s credibility. Saving the Six Bells creates a community space, and the group feels encouraged by this recognition. They will keep working hard.
The group launched a share offer, hoping to raise £150,000 by February 21. So far, they have raised £40,000, and sixty-four people are now shareholders.
Now, they have extended the share offer to April 19. This gives more people a chance to invest as the group continues to negotiate to buy the pub.
