Scarlets team and Salvation Army partner to support Llanelli. Collaboration starts March 22. Activities and donations planned.

It begins on March 22 versus The Stormers, a United Rugby Championship game. This idea was suggested by Raymond Millet, a Scarlets fan and Salvation Army volunteer.
Karen Symonds, who leads the Salvation Army in Llanelli, finds this a great opportunity. Rugby and the Salvation Army matter to Llanelli, and they are pleased to collaborate.
The Salvation Army will set up at the stadium with tables, banners, and donation spots. Activities for kids may also be available, and they can provide advice and support.
Paul Fisher, the manager of the Scarlets Community Foundation, said this partnership fits their values. Supporting local groups is key for them, and they welcome The Salvation Army to the game.
Antony Chappell, who manages the Salvation Army shop, believes sport can extend Christian values. They offer care and compassion through this effort, and anyone needing help is welcome.
Future collaboration is planned for the season. Scarlets players may visit The Salvation Army shop.
