Scott Arms welcomes Henry Scott and new chef Duncan Smith. New menu, garden updates, and events are all planned.

The pub faces Corfe Castle, and they are planning a new menu. A relaunch will happen in mid-February. Duncan Smith is the new chef, and he wants to use local food, featuring local meats and fish.
Henry will use local suppliers, including The Salt Pig, ensuring the food’s origin. Henry thinks the pub should promote Purbeck’s produce. They should source seasonal food responsibly, offering a sustainable experience.
The garden is getting a makeover with more tables and benches. The top garden offers reservations and service. The interior also sees changes, offering a new games room with a pool table.
The Jamaican Shak is also changing. A charcoal grill is coming, so expect jerk dishes. The Shak should open from Easter, serving lunch and dinner during busy times.
More events are happening soon. A barn dance is set for March 22, hosted by The Black Sheep. The Funky Lemonade Crew return April 5. Krafty Kuts arrives May 31, and a beer festival comes in September.
