The Dunterlie Resource Centre hosted an event in Barrhead as part of a 25th-anniversary series. This series covers eight Scottish regions. These events celebrate the Scottish Parliament.

Rena McGuire from Dunterlie Action Group hosted the event in collaboration with other community groups. She told the Barrhead News that the event celebrated local work. They also shared the group’s goals and spoke about the center’s future.

Local people learned about the parliament and how it operates. They found out how they can help shape it. The Presiding Officer attended the event, joined by MSPs Pam Gosal, Ross Greer, and others.
