Liverpool Safeguarding Children Partnership Learning, Practice & Workforce Development Group
Provide a coordinated multi-agency approach to workforce development which facilitates effective safeguarding practice through the communication and embedding of learning and practice improvements.
The LSCP Learning, Practice and Workforce Development subgroup will be accountable to the Safeguarding Partnership Forum , and then to the LSCP Board, for the operational frameworks for delivery of safeguarding training and workforce development.
Lead, coordinate and develop standards, policies and procedures, in response to themes, issues and learning identified from partnership audit, scrutiny and review(s): National / Local / Rapid.
Develop and coordinate a collaborative approach to disseminating and embedding learning which enables the multi-agency workforce to develop requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to support effective safeguarding practice.
Commission, deliver and monitor, for impact, inter-agency safeguarding training.
Support, as necessary, regional inter-agency safeguarding training.

Meetings & Frequency:
All meetings will have representation, delegated or otherwise, from all safeguarding partners. (Relevant agency representation will be as deemed necessary).
Meetings will be convened on a quarterly basis.
Business support (minutes, coordination of meetings, action monitoring) will be provided by the LSCP support team.
Amendment, Modification or Variation:
These terms of reference may be amended, varied or modified following consultation with LSCP Board
