After years of hard work, Sew Confused Fabrics opens in Andover. Customers excited about new shop.

Laura felt excited but also nervous, saying it was a very emotional time. She cut fabric for her happy customers.
Laura is 43 and lives near Salisbury. She chose to open her store in Andover after researching several locations, including Winchester, Warminster, and Salisbury. She spent a year finding the right place and decided that Andover was best.
Sew Confused Fabrics started online but customer feedback and strong sales encouraged Laura to open a shop. She mentioned that customers wanted a physical store, so she made it happen for them.
The shop, located at 26 Chantry Way, opened on February 8 at 9:30 am. People waited in line to get in, and the first 30 customers received goodie bags. Shoppers also liked the stock and prices.
Tricia Strong, 58, who lives in Andover, visited the opening with Tina Jones, 48. Tricia said the fabrics are good quality and reasonably priced, noting that many people seemed to want this shop.
Tina has crafted for about 20 years. Her first impression was very positive, and she also noted the good variety of sewing supplies.
Amy Robbins visited with her family and thinks Andover is great for this shop. She believes there’s a hidden craft scene and that crafting shops are popular there because it can be hard to find the right fabrics online. She plans to make a dress.
Laura’s husband, Mark Waters, helped at the shop, saying it was Laura’s dream realized. He said Laura wanted this for many years, ever since she started sewing 15 years ago. Now, her dream is a reality in Andover.
