A man in his 20s was mauled by a shark off Moreton Island. He suffered injuries to his stomach and leg.

Emergency services went to the scene quickly after 3 p.m. on Saturday. The island is in Queensland, Australia, and the man is now in stable condition at the hospital. The type of shark is still unknown.
Moreton Island is a popular tourist destination north of Brisbane. People enjoy the beaches there, and the Tangalooma Wrecks, old ships used for diving, are also famous.
This is the fourth shark attack in Queensland this year. Weeks ago, a shark killed 17-year-old Charlize Zmuda at Woorim Beach on Bribie Island.
The shark severely injured her upper body, and she died at the scene. Friends were with her at the beach, and her father later spoke about the tragedy as hundreds of people gathered to honor her.
Her father, Steve, held a candle and asked people to still enjoy the beach, as it was important to their family. They loved the community.
Charlize was a surf lifesaver, starting at age eight and becoming co-captain of a surf club. She competed in lifesaving championships, and her mom said she loved the beach.
