A shop owner in South Moor faces a hefty fine for repeated rubbish dumping offenses after warnings were ignored.

The store did not have enough space and lacked good waste collection. This caused the trash problem because the store made too much waste.
The owner got a warning to fix the waste issues, as they did not follow the rules. Wardens gave repeat warnings, but a notice was ignored.
Inspectors checked again later, but no improvements happened. Officials told the owner about fines and mentioned prosecution.
The notice expired and another check occurred. The shop still broke the rules, leading wardens to issue a penalty notice.
The owner did not pay, so the case went to court. Arvind Bir Singh was the owner, and he lives on Park Road.
Singh did not show up, so the court proved the case and that he broke the community notice. He must pay a fine.
The fine is £660. He also pays £330 in costs, and a victim surcharge is £264. The total is £1,254. Wardens said court is a last resort and they act when notices are ignored.
