Morgan Dorsett, 19, from Shropshire, died after a dog attack in Bristol; two arrested and released on bail.

Two people were arrested after her death. They have now been released on bail. Police went to Cobhorn Drive at 7:19 PM. This was in Hartcliffe, Bristol.
Paramedics and police arrived at the scene. Sadly, Ms. Dorsett died there. A man and a woman, both in their 20s, were arrested.
They were arrested for having a dangerous dog, which caused injury leading to death. They also had a prohibited breed. Police released the suspects on bail Friday.
Inspector Terry Murphy spoke at a press conference. He said the dog was put down, and reports indicate it may be an XL bully. Assessments will confirm the dog’s breed.
Mr. Murphy did not share extra details or where the woman lived. He also did not discuss past police contact. His thoughts were with the young woman’s family.
He thanked the officers and paramedics who tried to save her life Wednesday night. A full investigation started to find out what happened.
A neighbor spoke to the PA news agency. She believes the dog was an XL bully and often saw it with its owner on a lead.
She said the dog was not good with men, but okay with women and kids. The neighbor comforted the dog owner afterwards, who seemed to be in shock.
The neighbor said the woman could not talk, overwhelmed by shock. She feels it was a freak accident and does not think it was the owner’s fault.
