Sidcup’s Ruxley Manor Celebrates 70 Years with National Award Win

Hey, listen to this cool thing! Ruxley Manor just won some awards. It’s a garden center in Sidcup, you know? “Garden Trade News” magazine gave them the awards.

These awards celebrate the best garden centers at Christmastime. There were twenty different categories, even food and animals! Ruxley Manor actually won two awards.

They got gold for their garden center grotto team. Also, they received silver for wild bird and pet care. That’s pretty impressive, right? They were also finalists in other categories.

Judges visited many garden centers during the holidays. The award winners were announced recently. The ceremony took place at a big trade show in Birmingham.

This garden center sells plants and tools. You can find BBQs and pet supplies there too. During Christmas, they have a grotto and ice rink!

Kids can meet Santa at the grotto, which is nice. The ice rink was back and it got very popular. They had Christmas trees and decorations there as well.

Also, a restaurant is located at Ruxley Manor. It’s called The Mulberry Tree. You can enjoy lunch, dinner, or afternoon tea. The outdoor pods give great views.
