Police arrested 68 people so far from a big investigation of the event. Nineteen of those people face charges now. Also, 12 young people faced youth justice outcomes.
Police used all kinds of tech tools. This included CCTV and facial recognition tech. The Homicide and Major Enquiry Team leads the investigation into the disorder.
A police leader, Steve Dodds, commented that the investigation is moving fast and they are arresting many people. He noted Doherty admitted to serious offenses on July 18, and they are glad she was convicted in court.
Dodds wants to catch everyone involved and encourages people with info to speak up, stating it’s not too late to help the investigation.
