A big snake turned up dead in Evesham. Folks spotted it on Pitwell Lane and talked online. It was an eleven-foot Burmese Python, and a local animal rescue picked up the body. They called the RSPCA.

The snake’s skin was gone. Someone had taken it off neatly, from head to toe, according to the charity. Nobody knows if it was alive then, and people wonder why it was dumped by the road.

An RSPCA officer, Neil Loy, spoke about it. He said that he thinks a person did this and wants to find out what happened. They don’t know how the snake died.

The RSPCA asks for help from the public. If you know anything, call them at 0300 123 8018. Use incident number 01455722 when you call.

Photos show the snake by the road, lying flat on the grass. The RSPCA wants to find the person who did this and called it a sickening act.

The RSPCA often rescues snakes. However, a skinned snake that size is rare. They ask people to learn about reptiles first and to only get one if they can care for it well.
