These fraudsters ask for card numbers and addresses. They also ask for the last time you used your card. They try to use your accounts for fraud.
Some were coached on what to say for large withdrawals. This is to avoid raising suspicion at the bank counter. It’s unclear how many got calls or lost money. Banks never ask for your PIN or passwords by phone, or email.
