Allotment fees will increase a lot. They will jump 30% in 2025/26. Then, they will rise 15% in both 2026/27 and 2027/28. These changes save over £5,000 during three years. Bereavement service prices are also rising. They will increase three percent yearly. This rise will happen for three years in South Ayrshire.

The first year saves £21,480. Year two saves £55,124, and year three saves £56,778. Developers will now pay for street naming. They will pay £1,000 per site so it ends up saving £5,000. You will pay £250 to name your house. This change will bring in around £2,500 yearly.

The council will start using virtual credit cards. That saves around £35,000 each year. Commercial waste collection charges are increasing too. Plastic and cans rise by five percent. Finally, planning consultation fees will go up. Major projects cost £3,000 for a consultation. The council expects to save £10,000 per year.
