South East Aldi shoppers have exceeded expectations, raising £11m for the Teenage Cancer Trust, supporting young adults.

A young patient spoke about the charity’s impact. Clare Taylor, a coordinator, made a huge difference, serving as a constant support during chemo treatments when Covid restrictions kept family away. Clare’s presence eased the isolation.
The patient shared her life story with Clare; they started talking about her medical situation and eventually spoke about daily life. Teenage Cancer Trust is unique in the UK because they focus on youth cancer care through specialized nursing.
Aldi reached its initial £10 million goal early and now aims to raise £15 million by 2027. Aldi thanked its team and customers for their help, noting that their work supports young people facing cancer.
The charity praised Aldi’s staff and shoppers, whose combined efforts raised £11 million. The partnership’s impact is considered remarkable, and they are excited to keep supporting young people, thanking everyone for their generosity.
