Andrew Woolf prepares to leave his role after two years. He focuses on supporting charities and improving the area.

Andrew raised money for two charities. He collected over £13,768 for good causes. Blood Cancer UK and Mencap benefitted. He aimed to show the district positively.
His wife’s mom died from leukaemia. His father had blood cancer, too. People shared their own stories with him. He felt moved by their gratitude.
Andrew hopes to raise more money before he leaves. He and others will run a half marathon for charity. They want to reach a £3,000 goal.
He also started a Santa fun run. He hopes it keeps bringing the community together. Andrew wanted to improve the council’s image.
Being chairman is hard work, he said. Yet, he promoted South Holland well. He wanted people to see the good in councillors. His wife Wendy always supported him.
Andrew still represents his area on the council. Blood Cancer UK thanked him for his support. The charity said he raised awareness. He helped fund important research.
Mencap stated the money made a big impact. It helped people with learning disabilities get out. They went on trips and attended events. Andrew played Santa and cared for everyone.
