Penwortham Live and Longton Live are back! Get ready for music and fun across South Ribble this May and June.
Penwortham Live happens on May 9 and 10. Longton Live is on June 27 and 28. Performances will happen at different places. A council member, Matthew Farnworth, talked about the return. He mentioned many people enjoyed the events last year. Local venues and performers benefited from it.
More event details are coming later. For now, save the dates for both events. They promise two fun weekends in South Ribble. Last year, they had over 300 performances. These took place at 42 different places. The venues ranged from bars to a boutique.
You need wristbands to get into all venues. Each event needs its own wristband. Penwortham Live and Longton Live are separate. Wristbands cost £6 for each event. One event’s admission doesn’t work for the other. Check the Discover South Ribble website for details soon.
The website will tell you how to buy wristbands. It will also share the lineup for those two weekends. The council works with the Creative Network. They want to create a range of ‘live’ events. They seek venues and performers to participate.
