Tourism experts and leaders will gather to boost sustainable tourism on March 19 in Peebles, Scotland.

Timmy Mallett will speak about South Scotland adventures. He’s a TV star, artist, and adventurer. He’ll stress storytelling and community, helping give a unique visitor feel.
Gráinne Cornally from Fáilte Ireland will also talk. She’ll share lessons on destination branding and visitor growth. She knows about Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands.
Stuart Cassells will discuss ways to inspire quality. He’ll focus on North America and visitor experiences. He works for The Macallan and Red Hot Chilli Pipers.
Fi McClelland and Keith Muir will explore dark sky tourism. They’ll show businesses how to attract visitors. Stargazing can extend the tourist season.
More speakers include several experts from Go Tweed Valley, Raw Charging, and others. Experts from Cruise Loch Lomond and Visit Scotland will also be present.

The tourism economy grew by 20 percent last year. Visitor numbers increased by 26 percent, to over 5 million. This region has incredible potential.
