Train cancellations and bus replacements impact Southeastern routes from Feb 17-21, affecting southeast England travel plans.
From Monday to Thursday, the 11:50 PM train running from London to Faversham is impacted. Buses replace this service between Ebbsfleet and Faversham. These buses stop at every station except for Higham, Newington, and Teynham.
The Tuesday night work affecting Faversham, Margate, and Ramsgate has been cancelled. Trains will operate normally on that Tuesday route. However, early Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 12:20 AM onward, buses replace trains between Meopham, Sittingbourne and Gillingham. A train will connect Sittingbourne and Ramsgate.
From Tuesday through Friday, the 4:14 AM Gillingham train to Tonbridge is altered. It starts at Strood at 4:30 AM instead. A bus leaves Gillingham at 3:55 AM, stopping at all stations on the way to Strood station.
Also, the 12:25 AM train from London to Ashford is different those nights. After Bromley South, it will now stop at Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Headcorn, and Ashford. Several bus replacements affect that journey, running between Swanley and Ashford.
These buses serve most stations except Bickley, Eynsford, and others. To catch this bus, take the 12:40 AM London train to Swanley for a transfer. A minibus also links West Malling and East Malling. Finally, a 1:27 AM train leaves Maidstone East, heading to Ashford.
Then, on Wednesday only, from 12:30 AM until the end, plan for replacement buses between Rochester, Gillingham, and Sittingbourne. A connection train will run to Ramsgate. Wednesday and Thursday night impacts Dover trains on the 11:07 PM train from London to Ramsgate via Dover.
This train now runs non-stop, avoiding stations between Dover and Ramsgate. A bus will service all stations between Dover and Sandwich. Lastly, from Wednesday to Friday, buses replace trains from 12:10 AM until the end between Lewisham and Dartford via Bexleyheath. Trains will use the Sidcup line instead.
