Young farmers danced the night away at a masquerade ball, raising over £1,000 for Lincolnshire charities.

It was a masked ball with a fun theme, and everyone seemed to have a really good time. The ball raised over £1,000 for charity. Abi Rayner helped organize the event, and she said the ball was a success.
People enjoyed the food a lot. The meal featured a carvery and desserts, and many attendees left with smiles. After COVID restrictions lifted, the ball is popular again, with one hundred sixty-six people attending.
Who Shot Frank, a local band, played music, and DJ Stu Carter also provided entertainment. Both kept people dancing all night long. They raised over £1,300 through a raffle, and they also held a wheelbarrow of booze auction.
The money will go to several charities, including Lincolnshire Rural Support Network and the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance. Spalding & District Young Farmers will also get some funds. Abi thanked everyone for their support.
She explained they couldn’t have done it alone. She also thanked Springfields Events Centre and David Lowndes, a photographer, who captured the whole event. The venue provided great support, she said.
