A St Albans man was jailed for stalking his ex-girlfriend, culminating in a petrol bomb attack on her car.

The court sentenced him January 30, jailing him for stalking with distress for 27 months. He received 45 months for arson and nine months for violating the order. All sentences will happen at the same time.
Plus, he received a 10-year restraining order. Police say Miller is a dangerous man, emphasizing that he had a stalking order before this new case.
His ex broke up with him, leading him to relentlessly stalk her. He messaged her constantly, showed up at her job, and left notes on her car, even falsely reporting her to the police for drugs.
It got worse; Miller firebombed her car at her home, messaging her, “the car was just the start.” When police arrested him, they found a secret phone he should have shown to his police manager.
The victim feels relieved, but also scared. This experience left her insecure and constantly worried, knowing the effects will linger for a while.
The judge called his actions “dangerous,” stating the firebomb was deliberate. The judge noted her psychological cost, highlighting that it involved a direct attack on her safety.
