The St Andrews public toilet near Morrisons and PureGym to close for upgrades, reopening in May with temporary facilities.
Work starts this weekend. It should reopen in May. Don’t worry, they’ll have temporary toilets there. The Changing Place Facility will close too.
The nearest one is at Lido Park. Look for Little Al’s Cafe. Wychavon District Council is doing it. They said thanks for being patient.
The closure runs from February 10 to May 31. Wychavon’s toilets won awards before. They were the best in England and the UK.
They topped the Toilet Premier League. Wychavon invested in upgrades for six years. They added energy and water-saving features.
Things like solar panels and LED lights went in. Nine toilets got Diamond status. St Andrews toilet in Droitwich was one.
A council member, Emma Stokes, spoke about the award. She said people value the toilets. She thanked Mitie and their cleaning staff. They keep the toilets clean every day.
