St Anne’s Church in Bewdley gets a renovation thanks to funding and community efforts. The exterior stonework is restored.

The government gave £167,000 for the project. They used the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Wyre Forest District Council managed it. The church and charities added £85,000 too.
St Anne’s is a special old building. It’s right in Bewdley’s center. The Bewdley Civic Society pushed for this for years.
The church needed fixing up. Some stonework needed some love. The Rector, Mel Beynon, is very happy. They are thankful for all the funding. The project restored St Anne’s stonework.
They want St Anne’s to be a community hub. People will do many things there. They plan to fix the inside next. First, they needed the outside done.
They still need more money for it. The Mayor of Bewdley, Ian Latimer, is also glad. The Town Council is fixing the War Memorial. The memorial is attached to the church. They are renovating it.
