Stagecoach South Wales is changing fares, with single and DayRider tickets increasing, but zone fares are frozen until 2026.

Good news, though! Zone fares stay the same until 2026. They will stay at the prices they were in 2024.
Stagecoach will get rid of some ticket types. Some return tickets will go away, and Flexi5 and flexi10 bundles are ending. Also, the Cwmbran 10-trip ticket will be removed.
The company wants you to use ‘pay as you go’. They believe it will be the easiest way for you to pay. These changes help keep most fares low.
Some ticket prices get cheaper or stay the same. For instance, Cwmbran to Newport will cost 50p less, while Pontypridd to Cardiff will be 80p cheaper. Both fares will be £3.50.
Stagecoach still wants to offer good deals. They will make sure you get good value for multi-journey tickets.
‘Pay as you go’ will still make travel simple. You tap on and off for daily and weekly price caps. The company needs to adjust prices.
This ensures they can keep running all the buses and invest in improvements, too. Bus travel offers a good deal. They say they still offer some low prices.
