Local cycling club seeks new members to join group rides, build community and explore local routes.

Johnny Topaz and Si Gamble are excited. Spring is coming, so more should ride. They want to build a cycling community where people can ride together and share routes, and also meet cool new people.
Johnny said they love cycling because it helps fitness and mental health. People can explore the countryside too. They aren’t pros, just dads who ride before their kids wake up.
They usually ride Sunday mornings before 7 AM. They want weeknight rides too, and this will happen when it gets lighter later. Routes are 20km to 50km long and include cafe stops for snacks. Nobody gets left behind on rides.
Johnny thinks people ride more with company, as it’s good stress relief after a busy day. Their website shows routes and event dates, and also suggests local bike shops.
Johnny wants family sessions. His daughter Bella inspired this idea; she wants dad and daughter rides. The web address is stamfordcycling.co.uk, and Instagram is @StamfordCycling. You can also find them on Strava at strava.com/clubs/stamford-cycling.
