Want new garden ideas for 2025? A free event offers inspiration this month. The MindSpace team hosts a Seed Swap in Stamford. It’s on Saturday, March 29, from 10 AM to noon.

Bring extra seeds or small plants to swap there. They’ll exchange them for donated items. The mental health charity’s garden grows some of these. Volunteers will welcome you to this Seed Swap event. Enjoy free tea, coffee, soft drinks, and cake there.

You can also take gardening books without charge. Kay leads the garden program at MindSpace. She says it’s a great chance to visit. Find fresh ideas for your garden or space.

Get new seeds or small plant starts for free. Visit their beautiful wellbeing garden at the same time. Now is the best time to begin, she said. The garden is always open, seven days a week. Find it at Uffington Road allotments in Stamford. It is across from Mole Valley Country Store.

Chris Young is a MindSpace Garden trustee. He says connecting with nature really helps all of us. MindSpace wants to improve local wellbeing. The Garden is the perfect place to do that.

The Wellbeing Garden also runs weekly programs. They aim to improve mental health in town. Mondays feature “Help Out” from 1 PM to 4 PM. Fridays have a “Family Friendly Hour” at 11 AM. “Tea and Chat” for adults is also on Fridays at 1 PM.
