Stitch, a Bengal mix, has been stuck in a tree in Kidderminster for days, prompting rescue efforts.

Amy called the fire brigade on Thursday. They tried to rescue Stitch for two hours, but couldn’t get him down from the tree. Amy also called the council and the RSPCA.
Stitch has been missing since Monday. Amy found him in the tree two days ago. He’s likely been up there for days. He cries when Amy calls him, and he doesn’t know how to get down.
Amy got a quote for a cherry picker. It would cost £1,400 to rent it. The cherry picker needs to reach 30 feet. Amy fears Stitch will die if they can’t rescue him.
A fire brigade crew responded to the call. It came from Bromsgrove Fire Station. They went to Acorn Road, Cookley. The call was about rescuing a small animal; a cat stuck in a very tall tree.
It was about 60 feet high. The crew tried to coax the cat down, and they also gave the owner advice. She planned to call a tree surgeon. The incident ended at 1:30 PM.
