Richmond car recovered after chase. Police investigate vehicle crimes across nearby towns early Tuesday.

Cops are looking into a bunch of vehicle crimes. These happened early Tuesday morning, around Richmond and nearby towns like Skeeby and Melsonby.
Police say crooks were trying to steal cars. They also searched unlocked vehicles, and it seems they even tried breaking into some garages. This all happened from about 3 AM to 6:30 AM.
Someone called the cops about the stolen car. They found the vehicle in the Darlington area using a tracker. Police from North Yorkshire and Durham chased the car.
The crooks ran away from the police in Darlington. Luckily, they did get the stolen car back, but it had damage.
Police want people to check their stuff, including your cars, buildings, and property. Report anything suspicious right away, even if it seems like someone just looked through your car.
The investigation is still going on. Cops found good CCTV footage of the suspects and need more footage to find the crooks. They also want to identify the cars linked to this.
