Suffolk police get many crime reports each month. These include burglary and anti-social acts. They also handle reports of violent crimes. SuffolkNews looked at police data from December and the data reveals the most dangerous areas in Suffolk.

You can find the crime data for your street from Suffolk Police crime logs. The data also shares town crime totals. Ipswich had 1,181 reported crimes in December. Alexandra ward had the highest crime rate with 174.

Westgate and St. Margaret’s wards followed Alexandra with 130 reported crimes each. Stoke Park and Sprites had 127 reports, while Gainsborough and Holywells had 104. Alexandra had 66 reports of violence and sexual offences.

Bury St Edmunds had 322 crimes recorded. The north of town had 160 crimes, while the south of town had 102. The rural north recorded 48 crimes and the rural south reported 12 crimes.

December saw more crimes reported elsewhere. Haverhill saw 167 reported crimes, Sudbury had 160 reports, and Newmarket had 100 reported crimes. Mildenhall reported 88 crimes, Stowmarket had 75, and Felixstowe had 110 crimes reported.
