Police went to Harcourt Road on January 16. The time was around 2:40 p.m. Someone reported a man threatened with a knife. This happened inside the Tesco Express store.

After that, a boy, 17, was allegedly assaulted. It occurred at Moatfield Road and Harcourt Road. He was then forced into a black Range Rover. The car drove away from the location quickly.

Police stated that they arrested three people. The people arrested are now facing charges in court. Two suspects pleaded not guilty on February 18. This took place at St Albans Crown Court.

Kevin Ofori, 21, lives on Eldon Avenue. His home is in Borehamwood. Abdoulie Jallow, 19, lives on Grosvenor Road. His home is in St Albans.

Both denied several charges. These charges include kidnap and dangerous driving. They also denied possessing a weapon. Drug charges were included too. The drugs were Class A and Class B. They allegedly intended to sell the drugs.

The court will hold them in custody. Their trial will begin on July 7. A third suspect is a 16-year-old boy. He is from Portsmouth. He is now believed to have pleaded not guilty too.

The 16-year-old will also stand trial. He faces the same charges as the others. He also faces a money laundering charge. Police have not yet confirmed this detail. We cannot name him for legal reasons.
