Sutra, a new Indian restaurant, is opening on Main Road in Gidea Park February 21st, offering real Indian food.

Parsanna Rao runs Sutra Hospitality. They bought the location earlier this year and made changes inside the restaurant. Parsanna said he’s lived nearby for a while and knows many folks in Romford and Havering.
He noticed a need for real Indian food and wanted both north and south Indian options. Sutra is a complete Indian kitchen, serving the best dishes from all over India. They focus on south Indian food and street snacks, and you can also get some Indo-Chinese dishes.
Indian food has so many choices, and they picked the absolute best ones. The menu has meals and street food items. Try dosas and appams. Appams are like lacy pancakes with fish curry. They’re from Sri Lanka and Kerala.
They put up new signs outside the restaurant. Inside, they changed the lights and added a bar. They also worked on the kitchen setup. The new look matches the logo’s colors.
Parsanna wants to offer something different and is excited to see how people react. He aims to teach locals about authentic Indian food.
Their chefs have 35+ years of experience and worked at top places in the UK and India. They feel sure they can offer amazing, real food. They are having a soft opening today, February 12.
